“We generally think that the Gita consists of certain teachings which will help us and teach us renunciation, and take us along the spiritual path. This is not the correct way of understanding. We should recognise that the Gita gives us teachings which will help us to run our daily lives and meet the situations which we come across. Krishna established the truth that our spiritual life and our daily worldly life are not two distinct compartments. He demonstrated that our daily life is something intimately connected with spiritual life. He showed the need for harmony and connection between one’s thoughts, words and deeds. He proclaimed that in order that one may have good thoughts, the mind is very important. In order that one may communicate these thoughts to the world, word is very important. In order to put this into action, one’s deeds are equally important..”
LAASA salutes its volunteer Ganti Venkata Ramesh who has explained the meaning and the inner essence of all the vedas by identifying needy people – Kolleti Lakshmi (26) suffering from bone marro cancer getting treated at RIMS Hospital, Srikakulam. She and her family are the residents of Srikakulam. She has little children and her husband just a daily worker. She is in great need of medical support as the treatment costs lakhs of rupees. LAASA has committed to extend hand by providing the medical assistance for this deserving family.
The volunteer has identified the patient in a local news channel and approached LAASA for help. LAASA has initiated to volunteer which has impacted many people to extend their service to this poor family. A good deed always reaps good things.
The basic essence of all the Vedas is to serve the needful with purity at heart with unity. As always LAASA is to Love all and Serve All to infinity and beyond.
