In order to deserve the sacred name “seva”(selfless service), the activity must be freed from all attachment to the self and based on firm faith in the divine resident in every being. Sevahas to be considered as worshipping the form that God has assumed to give the sevak(servant) the chance of worship. When a hungry nara(human) is served a hearty meal, what is being done is Narayana seva(service to God); for narais only “a form and a name” projected by maya(delusion) on Narayana (God).
JedaChenchamma(age-55) was unable to work due to being weak physically. She is unable to earn even bread. She has a son of age-30 and was mentally retarded. Our volunteer, KilariSrinivasaRao with a divine thought, has identified this poor family at Kella Street, Srikakulam. LAASA provided food and nutrition to this deserving family under 100 day food program.
Whatever you do as service, to whomsoever you offer the act, believe that it reaches the God in that person—Eeshwarahsarvabhutanam(God is in every being). So it is Eeshwaraarpanam(dedicated to God).
