“This is the gist of all worship–to be pure and to do good to others. He who sees Shiva in the poor, in the weak, and in the diseased, really worships Shiva; and if he sees Shiva only in the image, his worship is but preliminary. He who has served and helped one poor man seeing Shiva in him, without thinking of his caste, or creed, or race, or anything, with him Shiva is more pleased than with the man who sees Him only in temples.”
– Ramakrishna Paramhamsa
To be pure needs a life living like a saint living in solitude, but a purer life can be achieved by having the gist to serve and to do good to others. LAASA salutes its volunteer SandulaGovindarajuluwho has identified this path and thereby helping DunniRamana Murthy and DunniKrishanveni from Ponduru Village, Srikakulam – a poor and elderly couple whose age in 90s and have no one to take care or to support them. LAASA has taken a step forward to provide the elderly couple necessary food under LAASA 100-day Food Programme. As always LAASA is to Love all and Serve All to infinity and beyond.
