“Service of fellow human beings is more needed than service to the Lord Himself. In fact, such service is equal to the service of God. That is the path of real devotion. For what greater means can there be to please God than pleasing His very own children? The Purusha Sukta speaks of the Divine (Purusha) as having a thousand heads, a thousand eyes and a thousand feet. This is to say, “All are He!”. Though there is the mention of a thousand heads, a thousand eyes and a thousand feet, there is no mention of a thousand hearts! There is only one Heart! The same blood circulates through all the hands, eyes, feet and limbs. When you tend the limb, you are indeed tending the whole body. Similarly, when you serve your fellow beings, you are indeed serving God!.”
LAASA salutes its volunteer Gurugubelli Dilleswara Rao who has explained the meaning and the inner essence of all the vedas by identifying needy people – Batta Bharathi and family being the residents of Srikakulam – the lady is a uterus cancer patient living along with her two children and husband. The family is in such a position where they don’t even have food to eat. LAASA has committed to extend hand by providing the necessary Food & Nutrition (Including 100 Day Food Programme) that would help them to provide food for 100 days.
The basic essence of all the Vedas is to serve the needful with purity at heart with unity. As always LAASA is to Love all and Serve All to infinity and beyond.
